How many BX's are there in the UK?
According to the DVLA there are a total of 37033 cars, as follows:

Worldwide, a total of 2,337,013 BX were produced! When new the BX was feted for its use of composite materials (bonnet and tailgate), anti corrosion treatment, plus a low drag factor of 0.34CD. The car was slated by some Citroen enthusiasts for its use of conventional MacPherson front struts, rather than the double wishbone arrangement employed on the CX and GS, even although the same basic hydraulics were used elsewhere on the car.
The Marcello Gandini penned BX was unveiled in France in September 1982, and launched in the UK in 1983 and was initially available with 1360 cc and 1580 cc petrol engines and three levels of trim (RE, TR, TRS). In 1984 the hugely popular 1905cc XUD diesel engine was introduced, togther with the 1905cc petrol BX GT. In 1986, the BX received a makeover to become the BX Mk2, with a restyled front end, interior and dashboard.That same year the 125BHP BX GTi replaced the BX GT (which became the BX TRS), and a 1769cc Diesel engine was also offered. In 1987 the 90BHP BX 1.7TD was available, together with the ultimate BX, the BX GTi 16 valve which offered 160BHP from its 1905cc XU9J4 16v engine. In 1998, the 1360 XW/XY engine was replaced by the light alloy 1360CC TU engine from the AX range, togther with the AX (MA) gearbox.
The BX was imported into the UK until 1993 (1994 for estates) and there were no significant changes to the range after 1988, with the notable exception of the BX GTi 16v, which simply became known as the "BX 16 Valve" and featured new bumpers and wheels after 1989. Just under 2.5 million BX's were built between 1982 and 1994.

ВХ šiek tiek pasikeitė išore ir vidumi.Tais pat metais 125AG GTi pakeitė GT,kuris tapo ВХ TRS...... . ВХ į Didžiąją Britaniją buvo vežamas iki1993m......Nuo 1982 iki 1994 metų buvo pagaminta apie 2,5 milijono BX-ų.

1982 rugsėjį pristatytas Paryžiaus salone. logiška samprotauti, jog jų jau buvo kažkiek pagaminta tai datai. tipo rugpjūtis?
