Rumours have been circulating on the internet that the French firm will re-launch the famous name on a range of luxurious models.

Last seen on the legendary DS limousine (pictured), the badge will re-appear at next month's Geneva Motor Show, on an all-new model. Reportedly called the DS3, the concept will point the way to a new premium small car – most likely a supermini-sized rival for Audi's A3.

Likely to go on sale in 2010, it will be joined by a second Ford Focus-sized machine, called the DS4, which will arrive a year later. The range will be topped by a Ford Mondeo-sized flagship DS5 at the end of 2011.

It has been reported that the new cars will sit alongside Citroen's existing C3, C4 and C5 models but will be priced higher.

tas D5 buvo siaip bajeris, ne iš paties citroeno....
ženevoje neva tai turėtų pristatyti DS3, t.y. kokį tai nedicką premium modeliuką.
pastaruoju metu iš psa vadovybės buvo kažkokių keistų signalų kad atseit ruošiama kažkas radikalaus, maždaug tokio lygio kaip DS buvo 1955.
o DS bus matyt naujo premium segmento pavadinimas, nors kažkoks prancūzų žurnalistas savaip interpretavo tą naujieną ir paleido kažką tokio kaip 'po 30m. pertraukos citroen vėl gamins DS', ką daugelis pasigavo. nors tai galbūt sąmoninga, kad generuotų ažiotažą. manau, tegul tik tos naujienos būna vertos to ažiotažo...
iš naujienų kurias PSA galėtų norėti greitai pristatyti yra naujas hightec 3ų cilindų benzinas (savarankiškai, be BMW ir be toyotos), 2009 žadėtas dyzelis - hibridas (C4, 308) ir 4WD hibridas, kur galinius ratus varo elektra. bet gal čia dar kažkas...

Prancūzijos automobilių gamintojas ruošiasi daryti pakeitimus savo modelių gamos „aukštojoje“ dalyje.

Šią savaitę „Citroen“ ruošiasi pristatyti naująjį savo liuksusinį automobilį, DS. Jis bus sukurtas remiantis 1960-1970 metų mitinio automobilio dizaino pagrindu. Vėliau turėtų pasirodyti daugiau modelių – tikimasi padaryti labai konkurencingą „Citroen“ automobilių „Premium“ modelių segmentą. Pirmieji modeliai su DS ženklu turėtų išvažiuoti iš gamyklų 2010 metais.

DS modelis bus bene pirmasis „Citroen“ modelis, kuris neturėjo koncepto. Jis jau dabar yra labai arti serijinės gamybos stadijos.
Naujojo modelio pristatymo proga Prancūzijos gamintojas ruošiasi pristatyti dar keletą savo automobilių modifikacijų.
„Citroen“ tikisi, kad DS ženklas padės padidinti pardavimus Prancūzijoje. Tai turėtų padėti padaryti ir nostalgija seniems geriems laikams – DS buvo pardavinėjamas nuo 1955 iki 1975 metų, tai buvo oficialus tuomečio šalies prezidento generolo Šarlio de Golio, labai populiaraus šalies politiko, automobilis. .
Sausį Prancūzijos automobilių rinka nukrito 7,9 procento, palyginti su 2008 metų sausiu. „Citroen“ markės pardavimai smuktelėjo dar labiau, 11,3 procento.

Tikėkimės, kad tai labai rimta info, nes absoliučiai jokių vaizdinių scoopų internete nerandu. Beje - << dyleriai jau yra informuoti apie naująją CITROEN brendo vizualinę pusę, nuo visuomenės tai dar slepiama :).

nebus jokio naujo DS'o. tiesiog ant premium klases (o gal ir kitu) modeliu klijuos "DS inside" zenkla (label'i kaip kad auksciau pr. kalba parasyta).

bet kas man patinka, tai lyg ir kalba, kad į visus šiuos DS'us dės hydractive pakaba.. įdomu ar tiesa, nes būtų smalsu išmėgint C3 dydžio mašina su tokia pakaba.
